On Friday, Aug. 18, The Record Pub will be hosting a Talking Heads “Stop Making Sense” Happy Hour from 5-7 p.m. The Deluxe Edition, 2 LP release – which comes out Friday, Aug. 18 – features the full (and iconic) “Stop Making Sense” concert for the first time ever on vinyl, and includes a 28-page booklet.
For the occasion, we are teaming up with our friends at Baerlic Brewing for a themed happy hour beer.
– Listening party for the band’s “Stop Making Sense” Deluxe Edition, which drops that day
– $5 pints of Baerlic Post Punk Rock Time IPA from 5-7 p.m.
– Everyone in attendance receives two free raffle tickets for prizes!
– TRP will be well-stocked with copies of the “Stop Making Sense” Deluxe Edition and other LPs from the Talking Heads’ extensive catalog
