During this special listening event, we will explore “Vol. 1” by Angine de Poitrine in its entirety. Led by our Deep Dive curator Patrick, a longtime host of “The Mixtape” on Portland Radio Project, we will delve into all the interesting details surrounding this fascinating record that laid the microtonal math-rock foundations for one of the more amazing viral sensations in recent memory. With reissues of both “Vol. 1” and “Vol. II” coming out the day before, we will have plenty of the band’s LPs in stock during the show.
