Once again in 2024, The Record Pub is proud to have partnered with a variety of community-minded organizations to help raise meaningful funds.
This year, The Record Pub introduced its new Community Trivia Nights. Held each Wednesday, we partnered with a different community group each month to help raise funds for their projects and initiatives. With a portion of the proceeds from each trivia night directly benefitting the groups, we helped raise thousands of dollars for nine different organizations through the new Community Trivia Nights. Our Community Trivia Night partner beneficiaries in 2024 included Sellwood Community House, Llewellyn PTA, Shady Pines Radio, Portland Radio Project, Agave Dogs Rescue, Saturday Academy, Sellwood Middle School PTA, Sellwood-Moreland Improvement League and Cleveland High School PTA.
In July, we again worked with the Llewellyn PTA to raise funds for the organization during our annual pancake feed in July. Held in conjunction with our annual anniversary celebration, we were able to raise the bar by generating $650 that directly benefitted the neighboring Llewellyn Elementary School. The pancake feed definitely has become a favorite activity at The Record Pub, and it’s something we look forward to each summer.
Later in the year, TRP teamed with Alley-Oop Comedy Jam to raise $250 for Toy & Joy Makers, a toy-giving programs that donates toys to kids not only during the holidays, but all year long.
Additionally, we were proud to have made donations to many other groups throughout the year, with the hopes of making an impact on their fundraising efforts.
As we near the end of another great year at The Record Pub, we’d like to extend a big “thank you” to everyone who has made all of these efforts so impactful!
